Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 166 Recap
In the previous episode, we saw Higuruma preparing to execute Yuji Itadori based on Judgeman’s verdict. However, Higuruma paused for a moment as he reflected on how the evidence Judgment had presented to him had established that the young sorcerer was innocent and that the real criminal was the demon Sukuna who had inhabited Itadori’s body. Itadori punched his opponent in the face during this brief break. The fight continues for several pages of the chapter, and at the conclusion, the chapter returns to the first page, where he explains that despite all the negative aspects of human nature, human flaws are worth empathizing with, which is why he has always remained a lawyer to empathize with and assist those in need. Higuruma then stands and recalls a period when he, like Yuji, was feeble. After the couple, now relaxed and at ease, takes a seat together, Higuruma reveals that he would award our hero 100 points for being weak, just as he was. As we conclude, Higuruma begins to discuss his own past, giving us a taste of what to expect in the following chapter.
