Where can I watch the show?

Camping a decent series while being a mediocre adaptation of the series itself. It is not so popular, but the sad part is that shows like this do not get the exposure they deserve due to the lack of availability of the shows on popular platforms. Luckily, this is not the case with Camping which is available on HIBO MAX to stream.

How is the show rated so far?

Despite all the attraction, the truth is that the show has a very poor execution while the story gives nothing extraordinary to the audience. Camping Season 1 review

Camping season 1 is a decent season of family comedy and fun. The basic plot of a ruined picnic trip is pretty classic while being pretty fun. The series continues its attempts to make you laugh and does get successful at times, but overall, the series doesn’t feel any special on the face of it.  You may be familiar with the film “Sex and the City,” in which characters of a similar age deal with similar problems. This is what it would have appeared like if all the glitz and shoes were removed, and everyone was forced to pair up with someone who was neither their Prince Charming nor Cinderella. It is quite successful at disguising itself as a silly comedy, and you don’t even realize how the wonderful cast uses your passive defenses to drive home some very inconvenient truth: about life after 30, about relationships, friendships, and the massive pile of lies that holds it all together, and how the majority of those lies are the ones people tell themselves. How difficult it is to adjust to something new and how a single new element can upend everything without any ulterior motive, simply because they do not know all the carefully maintained barriers and convenient secrets and will poke all the open wounds. It is occasionally over the top and heavy on stereotypes, and nearly every character bares it all – and I’m not talking about the nudity – making it more difficult to digest than the premise would suggest. A few characters should have received more screen time and development significantly, as they come off as somewhat token. And it’s been a while since I’ve felt like I was watching something age-appropriate. In the sea of 26-year-old High-School-students that have flooded every genre and subject of today’s television programs, I was probably starving for adults who are not just the main cast’s parents.
