Apparently, roads aren’t that clear for the spin-off series since American Horror Stories majorly tried to mix horror with political and social issues, which definitely doesn’t go well hand-in-hand, but since the release of the season, 2 things seem more streamlined where even though the series is still following the same sort of theme involve everything from witchcraft to covens. What Is The Storyline Of American Horror Stories Season 2?

American Horror Stories is a spin-off series of yet another popular horror Tv series called American Horror Story. This series, just like its parent series, focuses on a long horror story in each episode which is even more sinister and scary than its predecessor. American Horror Stories is an installment to a horror genre that has redefined the horror genre with different sorts of creepy content like asylums and covens.

What Happen In The Previous Episode Of American Horror Stories (Episode 2 Recap)

The movie Aura was a fantastic illustration of the psychological horror genre. I will admit that the episode got off to a slow start, which some viewers may have found unsettling, but man, this episode did a good job of presenting “silent” horror on another level. The only thing that was unclear was the husband’s unexpected passing. Why does he just vanish out of nowhere? I suppose that contributes to this episode’s reputation as a great mystery. There are a lot of questions that could be resolved in the second part! The moral of the story is that you shouldn’t purchase a door camera, and if you do, you should treat ghosts with kindness.

American Horror Stories Season 2 Episode 3 Spoiler

The third episode of the season, titled “DRIVE,” is unquestionably a disappointment after the season’s first two episodes, which were both excellent. I grew progressively dissatisfied with the movie as Marci, the main character played by Bella Thorne, in a very underwhelming performance. I kept looking at the clock to see how much time was left, but there weren’t more than 40. The first indication that this would be awful was the opening scene in the club, which had highly hackneyed, awkward, and childish language between Marci and her best buddy. I felt I was listening to a few little children, although these women are probably in their 30s. From that moment forwards, the issue got worse. The remainder of the characters in this one, except Marci’s husband, didn’t do anything. Nico Greetham, who starred in “American Horror Story: Stories” and “American Horror Story: Death Valley” in the first season, was the only actor who even came close to giving an acceptable performance. The tale lagged because there was too much exposition when Marci would keep stating the obvious and telling the spectator what was happening when it was evident what was happening even without her excessive explanation. I initially felt that the inclusion of this detail felt pushed into the script in an early scene where a character recounted an urban legend. In hindsight, I believe it would have been preferable to eliminate the phrase. The plot would subsequently take some unexpected turns as it neared its conclusion. Some of the character’s behavior was puzzling, as when they pretended to be shady, weird, or menacing when they were none of those things in actuality. But I don’t understand why the man, who had an intruder in his home, would just stand there and have a drawn-out chat with the burglar. I can understand why Marci chose not to contact the police. He could have easily eliminated Marci, but he chose to do nothing, ultimately allowing dumb luck, stupidity, and inaction to save him. Although some of the speech in the first couple of acts was quite creative and hinted at the major twist, this episode’s weak acting and the majority of the remaining dialogue kept it from being as brilliant as the first two episodes.

Conclusion

American Horror Stories is a series with a lot of potential based on the performance of its parent TV series but apparently, this series from the beginning has had more of a ‘meh’ performance. The core stories have a huge potential to make a good story if they are portrayed correctly. Besides that, the series can be a good one-timer for viewers if you’re looking for just spooky content and not something too hardcore in the horror genre. Season 2 is expected to perform better than season 1. Any further updates on this series will be shared with you on our website as soon as they are announced by the studio.
